My clients come to me knowing very little about coaching and about the journey they will soon embark upon. These people carry on with faith, taking a risk in hopes that they can transform their lives and in effect transform their character. Of course, taking risk means putting our egos aside, humbling ourselves as we take on tasks that demand more from us, and going forward knowing that whatever happens, we’ll end up better for it.
It pains me to see people are afraid to take risks for things they know will improve their lives and the lives of those around them. Taking risk means confronting fears, working through discomfort and pain, and venturing into the unknown. We surrender who we know ourselves to be and what are lives are until the present moment in order to transform and achieve what our heart yearns for.
Do you take risks? When was the last time you took a risk? Did you fail, learn something, or succeed?
