In two minutes or less, I offer career tips delivered fresh to help you advance your career and fulfill your soul’s purpose.

This video helps viewers to understand the first places to start working the moment they find themselves hating their jobs. Have you ever found yourself in a job you hated? What did you do differently upon this realization? What did it take for you to realize that you indeed hated your job?

My video seeks to give insight on determining if it’s the job (position/role) that you hate or the culture (certain behaviors or people or even group thinking) that bothers you. Also, have you simply outgrown the position that you’re in and actually enjoy working at the company. Quite simply, taking stock of what is working and what is not working is a great place to start.

Then, determine if you’re having personal, spiritual, or emotional issues that are affecting your work-life quality and balance. Maybe your personal values no longer match that of the company of which you are currently employed. Either way, it’s your job to begin investigating these aspects of the psyche and of the practical implications of your currently reality.

Finally, take some time working on coping mechanisms – specifically strategies and specific objectives that will support you as you determine the next stop on your career path. These coping mechanisms can involve finding help and support through colleagues, friends or family, as well as qualified career development professionals in addition to doing some self study and exploration of the various options and choices you have at your disposal to move forward in your career.

Take heart, being aware of a problem is the first step of recognizing what is the core root of the problem. This video today helps you get to the root and begin asking the questions that will carefully examine what is really happening at work and in your personal life.
